Using this Presentation

- This presentation is designed for use with Netscape 2.0 or higher and requires the Chime "plugin" for Netscape.
The Chime plugin for Netscape is written and distributed by MDL Information Systems, Inc. This plugin allows Netscape to display "live" (i.e. viewer manipulatable) chemical structures within a web document. You may obtain a copy by clicking here:
- Shown below is a "live" representation of methane, if you have properly installed Chime into your copy of Netscape you should be able to rotate this model by (left) clicking and dragging it. Right clicking (for Windows users) or clicking and holding (for Mac users) will bring up a menu with options for further manipulating the structure.

- Here is a "live" image of methane:

- Important note : If a "live" representation of methane is not present above then you have not properly installed the Chime plugin to Netscape 2.0 or higher. Please obtain a copy of Chime (see above) so that you may get the full benefit of this presentation.
