First of all I'd like to mention two great labs, in which I used to work. The first one is the Quantum Chemistry Laboratory at Faculty of Chemistry, Warsaw University. In this lab I spent 6 years working as an undergraduate and a PhD student under the supervision of prof. Andrzej Les. During my PhD studies I visited twice the Theoretical Biochemistry Laboratory at Physics Department, Stockholm University, where I spent 6 months collaborating with prof. Per Siegbahn. Both labs have great atmosphere, friendly people and are doing great science.
I have also been a PostDoc in computational and theoretical chemistry in the group of prof. Ludwik Adamowicz at the Department of Chemistry, University of Arizona. I spent there three great years working on a exciting interdisciplinary project connecting chemistry, biochemistry, biology and materials science. I'd like to mention here a great collaboration with the Materials Science and Engineering group of prof. Pierre A. Deymier.
Apart from science I'm in love with basketball. I used to be a journalist at various sport-oriented websites (ahoj.pl, basket.pl, sportel.pl). Almost since the beginning I'm the administrator of the oldest and one of the largest polish message boards on basketball, forum basketa. I'm also in charge of several other websites, most notably the site dedicated to polish players in the NBA and the site on the history of the Utah Jazz.
