bullet

(4/2011) We have an opening in multiscale modeling of solvated polymers and polymer-based colloidal systems.  Candidates must have exceptional background in polymer science and multiscale simulations, with a Ph.D. degree in chemistry, physics, or material science, and demonstrated skills on development/usage of first-principles-based molecular modeling methods, including but not limited to quantum mechanics methods, and atomistic and coarse-grain force fields, as well as Monte Carlo techniques applied to polymer systems in scale-coupled simulations. Excellent verbal/written communication and software programming skills (in C, C++, Python) are required.
